Our Learning Object Technology

Oxygen Education has developed a unique and proprietary method of manufacturing and delivering courses. We recognize that most complex devices are comprised of hundreds of individual learning objects and learning objectives.

We view learning objects differently than the traditional instructional design models.

For us, learning objects are micro-components of the complex device. They can be buttons, switches, mechanical and electrical components. Every piece and part of the complex device is a learning object that requires instruction for purpose, function and application.

It is not uncommon for these complex devices and processes to share common learning objects. In today’s ever changing world, complex devices and processes change frequently, requiring revisions to the training content.

Our process ensures that you to get the most up-to-date information possible.

With this in mind we developed a proprietary learning object assembly process that enables:

• Rapid course assembly and delivery
• Rapid reuse of common components across devices and courses
• Rapid revision of objects as technologies change
• Learning object presentation in multiple languages
• Courses to be dynamically assembled based upon the requirements of the student and/or the device

Our technology means that our courses cost less to produce and they are always up to date.
